i was looking back through some older photographs...from about 2 or 3 years ago....and i've noticed how my style has changed quite dramatically. i used to shoot more photos of animals and landscapes...never really going too deep into conceptualism. recently, however, i find myself taking more conceputal photos.

i don't explain my work a lot of the time because i feel i have no need to. i know what the photo means to me, and would like its viewers to draw their own conclusion about it as well.

i suppose i should get off here and continue getting ready to leave for columbus. i'm going to the columbus museum of art.....it's been a long while, so i'm really excited. especially since they have a degas exhibition right now.....eeeeek!

i've been playing with my camera more lately and it feels almost like a coming home.

now if only i could afford to buy some better equipment....blah.

i saw a deviantART drawing by someone and it was being called "inflation art." wtf?? it just looked like ugly comic strips to me.

to each his own....

but personally i don't get it.

i'm trying to get back into photography. life has gotten in the way, i guess you could say. which is unfortunate....i used to be attached to my camera but now i rarely use it.

i'd really like to sell it and get another one, actually. something that can take good quality photos, but is also functional...and i can use it for things like concerts and parties. there's no way in hell that i'd bring my camera now to a concert or a party....unless it was a really chill concert. like the jack's mannequin acoustic show at the basement.

oh well.

i'm cold.
