style

i was looking back through some older photographs...from about 2 or 3 years ago....and i've noticed how my style has changed quite dramatically. i used to shoot more photos of animals and landscapes...never really going too deep into conceptualism. recently, however, i find myself taking more conceputal photos.

i don't explain my work a lot of the time because i feel i have no need to. i know what the photo means to me, and would like its viewers to draw their own conclusion about it as well.

i suppose i should get off here and continue getting ready to leave for columbus. i'm going to the columbus museum of art.....it's been a long while, so i'm really excited. especially since they have a degas exhibition right now.....eeeeek!

I agree with you on the whole not explaining art. I have had many arguments with people who think it is an artist's duty to explain their work. Honestly, I think the point of art is letting the viewer relate to the piece of art. Explaining would just ruin that.
